Sonoma County began using CATS (Clerks Automated Tracking System) for issuing marriage licenses in February 1995, and have been using SouthTech Systems ever since. In 2007 we upgraded to the SQL version of Clerk docs for issuing and registering marriage licenses, and are in the process of enhancing our system to include the e-marriage modules as well. The system is incredibly easy to use and understand. Whether you are issuing the license, maneuvering from screen to screen researching the records, applying amendments, registering the license, stamping the local registration number, searching records, or running statistical reports, the system gives you everything you need and more. We are very happy to be using SouthTech Systems Clerk Docs.

Butte County
Butte County has been using the SouthTech Campaign Docs system for about 5 or more years now. It is very straight forward and actually quite easy to use. Whenever tech support has been needed, we have always had quick response from SouthTech; Grant Gyulnazaryan, in particular has always been extremely helpful. He is also very responsive to any suggestions for enhancements to the system.
The Campaign Docs system is a very accurate tracking of filers’ statements and the fact that there are multiple ways to search for statements is great.
My favorite thing; the fact that we have a computer designated for public look-up is fantastic. We can give a person quick instructions, and they can look up, view, and print any campaign disclosure statements they wish. We also have a cheat sheet on how to use the computer, so quite often the public doesn’t even need us until they are ready to pay for copies. Before we purchased the Campaign Docs system, staff had to retrieve the documents from a file cabinet, wait for the customer to decide which statements they wanted copied, and then take the statements to the copy machine to be reproduced. This was very time consuming and not very cost effective considering we can only charge 10 cents per page.
All in all, we are very satisfied with the Campaign Docs system.
